I loved seasons 1, 2 and 6, and could tolerate 3-5, but when Cousin Pam joined in the 7th season, the show fell from grace IMO. What does anyone else think. I liked Erica Alexander a lot more on LIVING SINGLE.
I dread the thought of how bad season 9 or even season 10 would've been if Cosby had decided to give it a little longer.

Quick question: What was it about season 6 that made you like it more than 3-5?

THE COSBY SHOW "JUMP THE SHARK" WHEN DENISE LEFT THE SHOW FOR A DIFFERENT WORLD.BILL COSBY WATERED DOWN THE COSBY SHOW TO CREATE A DIFFERENT WORLD.THE COSBY SHOW WAS'NT THE SAME WHEN DENISE LEFT.
THE COSBY SHOW NEVER RECOVERED IN MY OPINION!

I wouldn't say that the arrival of Cousin Pam made this series any better or worse, in fact if any it made it a bit better. She gave the show some more excitement and more comedic lines and better scripts as I found it.
