Ok. Let's pretend we're all new to the neighborhood, and are invited to a party at the Petries! It's going to be the biggest and best party they ever threw. It'll probably spill over into the backyard!
Rob and Laura only ask one thing; bring a dish for the buffet, and give a performance (wait, that's two things). Nothing fancy, if you like, but Rob's boss, Alan Brady might be there, so do your best!

For my dish, I would probably bring some type of salad, whatever I can find in my fridge LOL. For my performance, hmmmmmm, I would probably do a dance number, because that's what I'm best at!

That was an interesting question!!!!! It was kind of difficult for a minute too. LOL.

I'd bring a dish of homemade lasagna (for Sally and Ric). I'm kind of shy, so I don't know what kind of entertainment I could provide. Maybe the "Human Joke Machine" would be able to help me out with a little comedy routine. ;)

If the party spills into the backyard, I sure hope Rob and Laura haven't recently fertilized it...

OK, I'll bring the Avocado and Peanut Butter Dip in a Pyrex Cinderella bowl in the Sandalwood pattern just like Laura has. I don't have any talents so I will turn people's names into pictures like Mr. Lion used to do on the Bozo Show.

If it's the sour dill pickle juice, 2-3 hours is fine. If it's the milder, cucumber-type juice, double it. Sprinkle in some mixed crushed peppercorn and paprika or apply it just before grilling or broiling. If after tasting, the pickle flavor seems a little weak, just sprinkle some fresh juice on before serving!
They're always the "hit" dish at every gathering. I've never been able to make enough!

The Helpers' three kids were Patti, Ellen and Freddie. We only saw Freddie. Janie's last name was Sussman.

I could be wrong since it's been awhile since I've seen this episode, but wasn't it Ellen who came in, complaining that Richie had stomped on her foot at the end of the episode about how Rob and Laura first met, and Rob broke her foot? I can't remember the name of it.

The episode is "Oh How We Met the Night We Danced." And yes, the little girl's name is Ellen. She could have been Ellen Helper. We don't know for sure because they don't say she is the Ellen from next door, but it is very likely that it was her. So we've seen Ellen and Freddie. I know we've never seen Patti. Good memory, octobereve!
