Come on, It seems everything big is out now except these. Diff'rent Strokes is on DVD, ALF is on DVD, Punky Brewester is on DVD, Golden Girls is on DVD, even 227 is on DVD!
These 3 shows, along with I should include Mama's Family and Amen, are the only shows that were long running on NBC in the 80's and deserve season boxsets!
I don't know if I missed any shows? I know Family ties is coming soon, so that I don't have to add to the list.

Most definitely. Sony needs to get with the picture and release Facts of Life, maybe now that FOL is in the top 10 at tvshowsondvd.com they'll release it.
Silver Spoons is one of my most wanted shows on DVD, come on Sony
Yeah Mama's Family, Gimme a Break, and so many more shows(WKRP, Wonder Years, and all need to released)

Sony is extremely histant to release Silver Spoons. They really seem to have a hard time believing that it will sell well. So I'm beginning to wonder if we ever will see it on DVD.
As for Facts of Life, I'm certain that Sonyh will release it eventually. I'm actually hoping for later this year/early next year.
Gimme a Break is another that needs to be released, but that's Universal's department.

I'm getting really annoyed waiting for Facts of Life to come out. I don't get why they will release shows that weren't successful but make us wait forever for the good stuff.
This is a little off topic, but you mentioned 227. I got nothing aganst the show, but it was never a huge hit.
Anyway, I think the fact that Regina King has gone on to have a successful movie carrer, has a lot to do with it's release. I don't think the show is released season by season (maybe they still do a Best of) on DVD, if King or anybody else on the show did not go on to a successful movie carrer.
They released the first season DVD around the same time Ray was released in theaters. Coincidence anyone?
