so charles had the same last name as chachi his mother is the same person its related to happy days. another happy days spinoff i guess him and jone broke up or got divorced. becuase he was single again and moved to new jersey unless happy days took place in new jersey.

Charles never had a last name. In the final episode there was even a joke that Charles never had a last name. Though his mother was played my Ellen Travolta in both shows, she was playing different characters. There is no connection between CIC and Happy Days except that they had two of the same actors.
