Are they really all that necessary? Led Zeppelin's (1997) has a lot of good material, but those by artists such as The Yardbirds (1), Jimi Hendrix (2), and Cream (3) aren't worthy of purchase.

NOTES: 1: A cover of Elmore James' "The Sun is Shining" is the only truly worthy track on this disc. 2: The really good material here is on his "Radio One" CD. 3: This CDs best songs are "Lawdy Mama" and "Steppin' Out," and these two are on Eric Clapton's 1988 Crossroads box set.

I have the Zeppelin BBC sessions and there are some excellent live cuts on there.
