Small Wonderian 01-08-2005, 06:16 PM Oh, I think they can live to 16 or something but I don't know.
I know the first dog that I ever had, a german shepherd named Rambo lived 18 years.
Ravey 01-08-2005, 06:16 PM Oh, I think they can live to 16 or something but I don't know.
I don't like thinking about it. I seriously don't know what I'll do when one of my cats pass away. I feel sad just thinking about.
Superstar 01-08-2005, 06:17 PM An uncle of mine had a cat he got when I was born in 1985. I visited him at his house in 2000 (he lives out of state) and he still had that cat...she was 15 then. I think she lived for 2 or 3 more years.
wow.

I think I read somewhere that the oldest cat that ever lived was like 20 or 30 something.

I understand. I was really sad when my old dog passed away a few years ago. She was 10 or something.

I've heard that too. Cats have a longer lifespan than dogs, too. It's not surprising if a cat lives to be 18. :)
Ravey 01-08-2005, 06:19 PM "In 2004, it was reported that the oldest living cat (verified) was a Burmese called Kataleena Lady, a 27 year old cat is owned by Mrs V Hayward of Melbourne, Australia. Kataleena Lady was born on March 11th, 1977."

 We had a dog when I was born...but I don't remember him at all. My mom got him in 1976 and he lived to be 11...He passed away when I was two years old in 1987. We got two birds after that...a cockatiel in 1989 and a parakeet in 1991. The parakeet got sick and died in October 1995...The cockatiel went on to live a long life (for a bird) and died in October 2002. When my parents split, my dad got ownership to the birds. Ravey 01-08-2005, 06:58 PM Oh god ewwww...I HATE pineapple. :barf:
It's even worse when it's pineapple and bacon. When we had our party in school the teacher ordered some pizza like that.
Small Wonderian 01-08-2005, 06:58 PM You said it!
Yep. Hmmm, what to eat...decisions....
I'm really thirsty right about now.
Ravey 01-08-2005, 06:59 PM Pineapple pizza is really good especially with ham or canadian bacon on it, which will make it Hawaiian pizza.

EW! Even worse. I HATE pineapple and bacon. :barf: it reminds me of that time in 10th grade when my food prep teacher was preparing catering for a banquet and she made us students help with cooking for the banquet...One of the things she made me do was cook bacon. I thought I was going to die standing at the grill...THE SMELL WAS SO OVERWHELMINGLY BAD. :barf: Didn't help that she was an evil teacher too and wouldn't let me switch tasks even after I begged and pleaded with her.

Hey. :)
Not a great day today. Shrimpy (our other cat who lives outside) got attacked by a big black pitbull and his leg got hurt. It was bleeding. We brought him inside and Mom thinks he's ok now. He sorta has a limp tho. Also, the dog must've got another cat too. This black cat who's always hanging around in our yard. He's hurt pretty bad, he's staying in a box we put out there. We gave him some food. Gah. The dog JUMPED our fence to get to Shrimpy. We called animal control and they got the dog and took him away.

OMG. :( Poor thing. Aren't pitbulls those short, fat, typically ugly dogs? The ones that get mean if they don't have a lot of attention and once they bite don't let go? Because on tv the other day it was talking about how a pitbull attacked to baby horses. And almost killed them. It's so sad.

I cried when Fluffy limped because his leg was bothering him a few years ago, from a bad jump I guess, because it looked like he was in pain. I can't take it when my cats are in pain and I know I can't do anything to make them feel better.

The thing is, if you have to cry.. you have to cry. I can't hold my tears back easily. They're gonna come out. Anyone can yell at me all they want, but it's not gonna make it stop. My parents tell me to stop being ridiculous sometimes, but oh well. I'm just.. sensitive I guess.

lol this show, Upright Citizens Brigade, they basically do a few short stories throughout the show...and one was about this kid, Little Donny, who was born with a large penis disease, and that whole episode was about the Little Donny Foundation, and making it out to be like it was a real disease and junk. It's ****ing hilarious.
Cactus Jack 01-08-2005, 10:01 PM haha, I got the uncut one. Didn't get to watching it yet, though.
