Anyone ever notice that the girls only went to work "Sometimes"?

Well, Dorothy was a substitute teacher, so she didn't always work.

Rose had her grief counseling position, and then worked at the TV station, but we never really knew if it was full- or part-time.

Blanche said on a couple occasions that she only worked a few days a week, or something like that.

And Sophia had a couple of odd jobs, but she wasn't a 40-hour-a-week worker by a long shot.

There ya go.

I just love that we are to believe that mortgage hasn't been paid off yet. I mean, come on. It seems that Blanche and her husband came from money and had money.

I always found it odd that when ever somthing needed repairing (roof, termites, etc.) they always had to find a way to come up with some money, but they were always buying new ball gowns for the various events.... LOL
