:( Has anybody noticed that beautiful, cute and perky Carrie has put on lots of weight? This has made quite a difference in the tone of the show, in my opinion. Her character is not as appealing to me now that she has to wear very unflattering clothing and her old mannerisms don't fit her new "look."

I feel that she is now heavier in appearance than Doug. Does anyone know why she gained so much weight and if she intends to lose it soon?

She had a baby last year.

Has anyone heard (via an interview or something) that she intends to lose the weight for the good of the show. I still feel it is a terrible detriment to the quality of the sitcom.

People really need to get over this. I thought last night was another great episode. I don't think her weight has anything to do with the quality of the show. I'm sure she is trying to lose it. As stated many times before, it doesn't always come easy to lose the weight. In last night's episode I thought she looked a bit thinner than she has been lately, so I'm sure she is trying.

On this show called "Redcarpet Confidential" she mentioned she needed to lose 45 lbs. It doesn't look like that much to me. She looked slightly thinner on this program.

I'm really getting friggin fed up with all the talk about Leah's weight, she had a baby for christ's sake! I think it's great that she's on tv being herself and not looking like a Barbie doll like everyone else. MORE POWER TO HER!

You could stand to grow a friggin brain. I bet even with a few extra pounds that she looks a hell of a lot better than you do!

Sorry-all of you who stick up for Leah. She did look a tiny bit thinner the other night. However, it is still part of her "job" to maintain the weight she originally had, or else weave it into the story. It is stupid to pretend that she is still thin compared to Doug, when she is clearly not anymore.

Other actress' work real hard to lose the weight after a baby if that is the image they want to maintain. I commend her if she is doing so. If not, she doesn't care enough about the program. It does make a difference to her character and to the plots.

I'm sure she can afford all the necessary supports to lose weight if she cares enough to do so!

That is plain ridiculous. It is not her "job" to do any such thing. She is obviously trying to lose the weight. Unless you are her, you don't know how hard it is.

Thanks. Thanks a lot. I really deserved that.

I think it would be nice if she lost a few pounds but I don't think it's hurting the show all that much.

By the way, I really disliked last night's episode and that had nothing to do with Carrie's weight. I liked the episode better the first time when it was called "Missing Links" and then the second time when it was called "Connect Four." Why must they re-use ideas?!

yep, leah had a baby and did what she was supposed to: gain weight, insuring a better chance for healthy delivery and healthy child. good for her. she's a little chunkier, of course, but still a beautiful woman who will most likely return to her former size (she does work in Hollywood, after all!) and MOST IMPORTANTLY, she's an extremely gifted actress and comedienne (ever seen her on a talk show? she's a riot and not at all stuck on herself as many less beautiful celebrities are) and a key factor to arguably the best network sitcom currently on the air.

Woah! That was rude and uncalled for!

No. Its healthy to be bigger during pregnancy (MAYBE A LITTLE) but now so long afterwards. It is unacceptable for you to use that excuse for her.

No. She's annoying on talk shows, not funny.

No.

Let's please end the discussion about Leah's weight for now until there is something more to be said about it.
