As anybody remember the non-holiday TV show for Rankin/Bass from the 70's called "Festival of Family Classics"? That show was rare and it does not show on TV anymore. I remember the show since I was a kid. It features episodes based on classic fairy tales like "Cinderella", "Sleeping Beauty" and those other great episodes like "Swiss Family Robinson", "Puss & Boots" and one rare Christmas episode that it was on that show called "A Christmas Tree". I used to love that show that it was on Saturday mornings. I hope the episodes from Rankin/Bass would be so hard to find elsewhere.

The Rankin Bass Family Classics are currently running on a rare digital cable channel...I just taped Alice In Wonderland & Arabian Knights, the quality is beautiful and they brought back some great memories.....in addition the channel runs the seldom seen rankin bass 1961 wizard of oz cartoons and the 1960's mighty hercules show....great stuff.....
