I was watching Thomas' appearance on NBC's Tonight Show this morning.
Thomas comes out wearing a suit with a tie that resembles one of those strawberry and grape flavored candy canes (I'm suprised that he wasn't wearing the brown leather jacket. He forgot to pin his tie down, though).
Jay Leno talked about the movie and mentioned that Thomas is SINGLE like his character in the movie! You have got to be crappin' me, Thomas!!!
*SIGH* I GIVE UP!

If you ask me (and nobody DID), Thomas has more confused issues than just whether he's married or single.....
For years he's been switching his public image back and forth from being a rugged, Texas he-man rancher-type to a wine-sipping, brie-eating, suit-and-tie wearing sophisticated urbanite!

I think it comes from his Gemini traits (I'm really into astrology. I read tarot cards and stuff).
One half of him is a rough, rugged, hard workin' man and the other is a well-read, rich and sensual executive business man (I'm in love with the executive myself).
If this man weren't a rancher or an actor, he'd be an English teacher. Have you heard his references to classic poets and authors? How about his vocabulary?
*SIGH* He takes me back to my junior and senior years of high school when I had a crush on my English teacher. He was a Gemini, too. No, he didn't look like Thomas, either! :P
I am, however, quite humbled that Thomas signed the motorcycle for Tsunami Relief. I wish that the Sideways cast and crew would donate something to the fund as a whole. They're so well known right now that they should do it. :)
As for the marital status crap, the sheltered life is finally getting to me and I had a nervous breakdown for four days. It wasn't just the Thomas Haden Church biography that has been floating around on the internet news sites that were getting to me, it was the music of Supertramp, which can drive any individual to madness if listened to everyday. It's getting to the point that I can't turn on a classic rock station without hearing 'The Long Way Home', 'The Logical Song', 'Breakfast in America', 'Bloody Well Right' or 'Give a Little Bit' (The new GooGoo Dolls remake counts if I'm listening to Top 40).
