What inspired you to make your username?
Mine is prety self explanatory...i like the colour purple,and i happen to look good when i wear it :lol: So modest huh? Well thats my story.I'm sure some people have wondered why people have the username they do,so i thought a thread about usernames was due. :)

My username is my initials.

Not one of my more creative moments, but I've learned to live with it.

Hmm... well, Kay Scarpetta is the main character in a series of books I read by Patricia Cornwell. She's awesome... and my nickname, coincidentally, is Kay. So hence, Kay Scarpetta.

I took my name from a computer software company called Spectrum Holobyte, I just tweaked it a little bit to make the first name sound more human.

I chose my user name b/c I like Shawn and Belle on Days of our Lives Soap Operas they are my Favorite Actor and Actress

When I was in middle school, people use to nickname me Garfield, because people thought I had big eyes like the big orange cat, but I attracted a lot of females with these eyes, and I sort of stuck with the name since, and Kool because The funk group Kool & the Gang is my favorite band.

Well I was thinking of a nickname but I couldn't think of anything, and I had just finished watching an episode of "Good Morning Miami" and so I thought I would just change it to Good Morning Calgary because I live in Calgary.

Mine comes from an episode of the tv show "Lois and Clark" in which Lois Lane goes undercover and her undercover name was Lola Dane(a sort of twist on Lois Lane) ;)

Penny Lane is the title of a great Beatles song. I wanted a name pertaining to the Beatles so I chose this because I wanted a female name. It was either Penny Lane, Lady Madonna or Eleanor Rigby. :lol: I thought Penny was a cool name.And in case you are wondering............. I chose this name way before "Almost Famous" came out in which Kate Hudson's character's name is Penny Lane. Well! Guess they stole my idea! It was mine first! ;) :lol:

It's a play on the phrase "Twist of Fate" and Kate is one of my nicknames. Fate is replaced with Kate and I added these ~* for decoration. Chad came up with this name on MSN one night.

I was going through a serious Liza Minnelli phase a few years ago, which luckily, I grew out of. But I do still like the name and I use it often as my online alias. I also use it in real life, when a guy asks me my name and I don't want to tell him, I just say it's Liza. ;)

I've been playing the Legend of Zelda series on Nintendo since I was just a wee little thing and my fave character of all time (even tho she's been unplayable in pretty much all of the games, except for the Smash Brothers games) is Princess Zelda. It came around many years ago when I used to have ICQ. I saw that many other people had "Princess Zelda" as their usernames on ICQ, so I thought for a bit and then thought of PZelda...nobody had it, so I put it in as my name and it's stuck ever since.

It's the name of one of Freddie Mercury's solo remix albums. Also the name of the Platters song he did a remake of.

I'm always up late at night sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning. When I first came to SO some of my friends in Random called themselves Night Owls but I always said I was a Nighthawk so the name stuck.

I used to have Trippergrl but I changed it because I'm not as obsessed with Three's Company anymore. Since I'm still a fan, I have Janet for the first part and the second part, McFarland, is based off Jack from Will and Grace :D

At first i couldn't come up with any ideas for mine.Then I thought "I'm an American, and I watch tv way too much" so I just put it as Americantv. :lol:

I don't know where this came from...I wanted something catchy and I was thinking of Khleo who playe Zero in holes and I decided to add miss to the front of that...in general, it has nothing to do with Khleo though just catchy.

Oh, I've told this story so many times. But that won't stop me from telling it.

So I used to be Patricia Heaton Forever, then Delta Burke Forever, then Annie Potts Forever. Sean (Sean Snow) once suggested to me that I become _______ Forever, and just put whoever in my avatar. I got to the point where TJ said I could only change my username one more time, so I figured it should be generic and something I'd like for awhile.

So I went with Sean's idea. Only the blank was ugly, so I added -*... I used to always use ~*, but I find that so ... I don't know, adolescent looking? So I used -'s :D

In 9th grade, my Spanish teacher called me consentida, which means spoiled in Spanish. That word just always stuck with me so I just used it as my name here. I use it for other things too...

It was through that book that I first learned the joy of reading. Since Max was one of my favorite male characters, I chose that name.
