Once again someone from a notorious criminal case trys to cash in on the gravy train. This is blood money and although she has made her millions for her story I hope no one buys her book.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not a fan of Amber Frye, but she didn't know Peterson was married, and she didn't kill anyone. She worked with police to nail him by tape recording his calls after Laci went missing and fully cooperating with authorities.

Still, it's distasteful. If anyone's interested, Amber is giving her first interview on Hannity & Colmes tonight. I think it's a two-parter.

I don't think too many people gave a rat's rear about what Amber had to say before, so why does she have to put it in print?

What about that one girl's dad who wrote a book.. SMART! Elizabeth Smart's dad wrote some book and went on Oprah and everything. He seemed like a CREEP! Stop trying to make money off of your daughter's abduction sicko.

But don't you think, she could have done her duty, testified and went on with her life, as she said she wanted to? Why did she have to write the book? We heard everything during the trial.

It kind of disrespects Laci's family a little. I mean, they are all trying to move on and then shes gonna write a book on it and bring more media and its just gonna be a mess

I don't think it disrespects Lacie's family at all. Every aspect of their personal lives has been exposed since the trial. Their personal phone conversations (Lacie's mom and Scott) were published a long while back. Amber may be a bimbo, but she obviously needs cash to offset her legal bills. She did her duty, she was very sad about the outcome with her and Scott. The only thing I find odd about her is how fast she started up with another man and had another baby! If I were a woman, I would have taken my time before trusting a guy again! Man! She's either really trusting or really stupid. I won't buy the book, because I don't want her to benefit, but I will read someone else's copy. ;) === > GLEN  PS she's on Dateline NBC right now.

Amber felt the need to tell her story and she has every right to do so. I don't feel she's cashing in on this tragedy if she is so are all the magazines, newspapers and tv stations for airing it. There are two other books out about this case I don't hear anyone bitching about those.

Okay then I will bitch about it! I didn't know there were other books, this is wrong also. Anyone who is out for profit is wrong. I buy People magazine and when I saw Amber's mug on the cover I didn't buy it. Amber wants her fifteen minutes and she is cashing in on Laci's tragedy. If she cared so much about this family then she would have done the trial and moved on. Even her father continues to be in the media.

Amber is an attention hog.

First of all I doubt she really wrote it. I mean the woman can hardly speak in full sentences. Chances are, she had a ghostwritter do it.

People have been writing books about their experiences for ages. I lost track of the books that followed the O.J. Simpson trial. What I'm against is when people who commit murder profit off books or movies. Many states have laws prohibiting that.

I agree now if Scott had written the book or his disgusting family then I would be mega pissed but Amber has every right to write one if she wants to she did nothing wrong here and I'm so tired of the Amber bashing. If she were really an "attention hog" She wouldn't have waited until the trial was over to be all over the place.

The reason she wasn't all over the place during the trial, is because of something called a "gag order".

She will also be on Oprah today and the book will sell I'm afraid!

She's still making money from Laci's death, if she wants to write a book then donate ALL of the money to a charity setup in Laci's name that would be one thing, but no she had to cash in on this just like other's have when there's a tragedy ohno:

If I were a woman
  Yeah, right!

I can't imagine why anyone would want to hear anythiong she had to say? Too much free time, maybe?
