Does anyone know what Maddies house looks like?
I mean, can you draw a map of it? How did she decorate it?

I just watched the part of the Pilot where David brings Maddie home in the Porche and I also watched the part from I'm Curious...Maddie where Sam and Maddie stand infront of the doorway. Both places seem different to me. Did she change her door in one of the episodes? :confused:

Ooh, now that's a question. I can see it in my head - as you come in through the door, the staircase is in front of you, to your left is her living room. I think the kitchen is to the right of the staircase - she didn't seem to use it much.. Maddies bedroom is right at the top of the stairs. :D

Funny, just as I'm remembering this, all I can see is Maddie stood at the top of the stairs shouting "I'm not worth it?! I'm not worth it?! Look who's talking about worth Mr Bargain Basement, if there were a close-out sale in human beings, you'd be the last one to sell!!" :lol:

The front door was also seen in Read The Mind, See The Movie in the very funny PapaBear/apron scene.

Anyhoo, I was just thinking . . .

In Somewhere Under the Rainbow, when the three of them drag the pot of gold into the house, don't they end up being in Maddie's front room, even though they came in the front door? I have a vague recollection of them being by the front door but near the fire. :confused:

But maybe I'm just imagining things and school is causing my mind to go a bit strange :D

Well, there are some weird things about this house. Wasn't the livingroom lower in the Pilot than it is in I'm Curious? Or is that a totally different room?

When you enter the front door you have the livingroom on your left and the kitchen on the right, BUT when you watch the Pilot closely, you will see the door they enter is on the right side of the staircase (this means I have to built the whole house over again) This also means that the door they use in the other episodes is a side-door.

In the pilot she runs downstairs when she hears the breaking of plates and stuff and those plates come from behind the staircase. So on the left of the green front door. Wasn't there a closet with plates as well on the other side of the staircase? When you see the closet you will see a hallway leading to a green door. If I'm correct, that's the front door!

This house is very complicated pfff

That is tres cool....and i actually have a sorta film tour of Maddie's house to put online hopefully later this week. It isn't exactly the whole house since the interior was on a sound stage....but I do have a video clip where Good Morning American filmed from the sound stage and the weather guy went into different rooms of Maddie's house. So....I am trying to edit it together removing all the other stuff on GMA that day and then you can see what they did show. There is a nice long shot right outside her front door that will let you see exactly how it looks....but remember the front door is on a sound stage while I believe the exterior of the house is filmed at some actual big house in Bev. Hills..... The front door and the specific rooms are not located in the same house...they are built on a sound stage.

LOL I would love to show you the inside, but it's still a huge mess in there. That's because I don't know where to put what, yet. ;) I also don't know what the rooms look like. Like I said, it's a very complicated house. I promise I will post pictures of it as soon as it's finished. ;)

Well, she is still posting a bit at Cybs place, but she is very quiet lately. I think it's because of her pregnancy.

They won't let me play at Cyb's place. BooHoo. I haven't been able to get in the forum in a couple of days.

I started to decorate my house just the way I like it untill I see the clip. Kismet, do you have any idea where Maddie has her bathroom upstairs?

LOOL, I just thought of something funny, while decorating the house. This house is so big inside that the first floor is more than enough for them to live in hehe :D

I thought her bathroom was connected to the bedroom and dressing room area. Remember in A Trip To The Moon when David comes out of the shower area? -- Maddie was also getting dressed.

I saw To Heiress Human yesterday evening and noticed the bathroom was on the side of the bed. Now I know why I had so many space left at that side of the house!

Aah, you've got me sidetracked now Kismet, I'm just thinking about David coming out of the shower...!! Ahem..

I noticed too that her house looks different in some epi's.
The hall in her house was a lot bigger in the Pilot.
And the driveway is a lot bigger too in the beginning.

Yep there are certainly some differences during the show.
Also when she takes a bath and walks back to her bed in Mulberry, it looks like her bathroom is a lot smaller and closer to her bed...... :crazy:

Hey, Steph, I just remembered (for whatever reason!) that you were making Maddie's house on The Sims ... do you have any pictures of the interior now? I want to see! :D

Did you have a chance to see the set tour yet on the video clip on my site? I wish it was more and showed things in detail, but it is all I have. It shows Maddie's front door and entry really well as well as the staircase and foyer area. I only had one brief shot inside her bedroom.... the fan that sent me that tape had cut off the first minute or so of that segment.

hmm, no, it didn't really help me a lot... But that's okay. I decorated the house (well, most of it) myself. The kitchen is the only thing that isn't finished yet. It's now placed in the hallway haha.

I'll try to make some pictures of the best rooms in the house

There are supposed to be walls around the whole room, so sometimes you see parts of the room next to the room in the photo. I hope it doesn't confuzzle you too much.

And yeah, the bathroom is big, but I have to change it someday because I now know a little more about the bathroom, and my guess is that it will be too small after I rebuild it :crazy:

Kismet, I want a livingroom like on the first picture. I liked the outside of the house but that livingroom is the room I like the most :D

Now I just have to watch I'm Curious again hahaha

This could def be Maddie's home, no doubt!
