WICKER PARK

The trailer made the movie look like a great thriller, but the film was nothing like it.I mean, lines from the film were put in the trailer and attached to scenes where it looks exciting, but were in a completely different scene in the film, and didn't have the same effect.I dont know if i am explaining myself well enough here,so hopefully you get what i mean.

God i really hate it when the trailer is better than the movie.I was better off just sitting and watching the preview of Wicker Park instead of wasting $12 at the cinema.....argh,you learn i suppose :o

Shrek 2, they used every funny line in the trailer and when you got to the theatre, there wasn't a single funny line outside the trailer

Men in Black II. The one good joke was used in the trailor. "It used to come with a black dude but he kept on being pulled over." The rest of the film was a complete bore.

Gangs of New York - actually, just about every Martin Scorcese film has a good trailor, but I have yet to see a film by him that I like. I have no idea why the man is still employed.

Emily, how can you say this? Scorsese is a genius. Though I was a bit let down by Gangs of New York and was really let down by The Aviator, Scorsese has still made some of the greatest films ever like Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Cape Fear...
