now you can see the number of times your post was viewed. So it can be 0 responses and 23 views=-LOL I don't know if I like that.

...it looks like the signatures are repeated on every post on the page, instead of just the first one.

i hate:

- the colors
- the way everything is crowded
- only being able to read one post at a time
- half the posts in threads not appearing no matter what
- the box with the Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes etc
- the dropdown menus
- the text boxes and options
- the user cp
- the graphics
- the layout, positioning and organization of everything

there's nothing i like about the upgrade. it's nothing but inconvinient.

Oh man...this will take some getting used to. The thread starter isn't in it's own column anymore. Oh well.

That sucks. I liked that feature.

Hey, congrats of becoming an admin, Seth. :)

I've seen that feature at other sites too. I personally don't care for it.

Me too. It was so weird when TJ turned that feature off in July 2003.

The one thing I don't like is that the new typeface is too bold.

I don't especially like that feature, either. I like all the other features on the board. The board has a cool new look. But, when I see a thread that I posted that has more views than reponses, I'm thinking, gee I hope I'm not making boring conversation and boring everyone to death. Oh well, I'll get used to it.

I think they are okay, like anything,it will take abit of getting used to.Its now like the millions of other message boards out there.

The thread views are only updated hourly. Maybe it will help some people make more descriptive thread titles. Some are way too vague and unlikely to get clicked on.

I don't remember ever having views turned on the old boards for any extended period of time. I regretted taking them out as they were impossible to put back in.

This is now just like the videogame review.com message boards that I visit sometimes.

I think the feature where you could see how many times a thread was viewed is good. With that in place, a person can see whether their topic was read by a lot of people. With the old boards, the only way you could tell if someone was interested was if they went and replied to your thread. It looks weird seeing more views than replies but I personally think it's better than posting a thread and not knowing whether people have read it or not.

It kinda makes you feel cut that people read it but didn't bother replying, but i wont take it to heart ;) And there's always going to be more views than replies, sometimes i'll read a thread, but wont have anything to contribute to it.Alot of people do that on message boards i suppose.

I can't complain. It is better than the others I am on. I somehow lost my old name. a new one is fine to start the year. I do wish I could put a little photo nearby.

It's just a matter of getting used to everything. There's this forum I visit a lot, and when they changed servers onto a new forum look, it was sooooo weird and just too different to get used to. I grew accustomed to it by now. Humans just don't adapt to change all that well too quickly. Give it some time, and "some" things you'll get used to. ;)
