I just watched this movie a few days ago and I loved it!
It was very weird and funny, yet romantic and interesting, where you could relate to the characters. It has a great soundtrack, too. I think I'm going to buy it now!

I loved this film back when I saw it in the theater. I went to buy it the other day and every place was sold out. So annoying!

I thought it was good, but not the brilliant cinematic masterpiece that many critics said it was. If I hadn't heard so many glowing reviews I'd probably have been pleasantly surprised that a small film with a novice writer/director/actor could be so good. It did have its flashes of brilliance, but I also found aspects of it to be shallow, manipulative and self-indulgent. There were too many moments when it seemed to be trying much too hard to be quirky and engaging. I'm sure I'll watch it again, but I don't think its appeal will hold up over time.

Garden State was my favorite movie of 2004. I just loved Natalie Portman in it.

I just watched it. It was awesome. And **** yeah you can relate to the characters...Natalie Portman's was basically...me(with what the beginning where she was ballbusting and going on and on about pointless stuff...ha) I loved the humor and the relationships. Yeah, it was really good.

This movie was decent and had good performances, but it is becoming slightly overrated. Some parts just seemed to eccentric for me and I wasn't sure if they were being silly or sincere at some parts. But a good directing debut for Braff nevertheless.

I keep putting it off, and have to rent it this weekend.

I watched 'Garden State' last night, and I really loved it. It had an offbeat, sort of 'American Beauty' feel to it. Fantastic performances.
