Why isn't there a Wonder Years dvd set yet? I adored the show and would love to have all the episodes on DVD,why cant i purchase it?

I hate to say it, but you will likely never see a Wonder Years DVD set.. atleast not without tons of music changes. The music rights are just too much for companies to release them in their original form and still make a profit. They've already made music changes in the episodes that air in syndication vs. what originally aired.

Thanks for that info TJ.I've seen 7 dvd box sets with all 115 episodes for sale online,but i dont like to buy online when i cant see what i am buying,and i dont know if its reliable.

No WY dvd yet :) Fans of the show are just going to have to wait,and see what happens next.I'm beginning to think there'll never be a dvd.

I'm shocked they won't license the rights to Shout!Factory. Shout did things right for the music rights for Freaks And Geeks.

If Miami Vice can make it onto DVD uncut.... TWY should definitely be able to.

I just went to tvshowsondvd.com and it said that the show and according to Fox Home Entertainment "We've got it on the schedule, but there are hurdles to clear prior to a firm release date.".

Hmmm.I think my hope is slowly diminishing.These websites say the dvd is in the works to shut people who want it,like me,up.Damn it.
