I started recording all of the episodes of "Mama's Family" to DVD on Thursday, if TBS doesn't skip around too much I should have the series finished in a few months!
I have one of those DVD recorders with a hard drive so I'm recording all the episodes at the highest resolution, XP, on it and then editing all the commercials out with its' great frame by frame editing feature. Then I'm putting them on disc using the Flex Mode at 4 episodes per disc, which allows it to use the whole disc for just 88 minutes of video. That keeps the quality as high as possible.
I'm going to need help when it gets back around though.. does anyone have an excellent copy of "Gert Rides Again" or live in an area where it IS shown in local syndication?
