* I love the Kane Women - Erica, Bianca, Kendall, and Miranda! They're the main reason I watch the show.

* David Canary (Adam) is awesome! I'm also really enjoying Jacob Young as JR - he's been great!

* Greenlee and Ryan = UGH! Breaking into Kendall's condo was PATHETIC!

* Ethan and Kendall are cute together! I think they have great potential.

* Aidan and Anita = YAWN! Get Aidan someone new!

* Lily is so cute! I love her! The actress is great!

* Livia looked hot on Friday's show! Her hair and outfit were beautiful! Make her look like that more often!

* I hope Erica and Jackson get married in '05! We've waiting SO LONG!

* It was hilarious seeing David and Krystal in jail! HAHA!

* Babe and Jamie are hot (or maybe I should say - Jamie's body is hot!). They should get punished for keeping the truth from Bianca, but they're one beautiful couple! Jamie shirtless had me :happyface

* Maggie's abuse story looks to be heating up. It looks like it might be good. I hope it's written well.

* Do you think Dixie is coming back? They sure do mention her a lot!

there is NO WAY that Dixie is coming back. Cady McClain who played her left the show, saying she wanted to spend time with her family and then days later took on a role of "As The World Turns" as Rosanna Cabot, they killed Dixie off right after that, to prove a point. and so no Dixie will never come back. And they won't recast that role, just to prove a point.

I'm not too sure about that.


McTavish is a big Tad/Dixie fan - she's always written great for them. Yes, Dixie was killed off - but when has that stopped AMC (or any soap) before? LOL!

AMC is currently casting a character named "Megan" (describing her as potential love interest for Tad). The rumor is that this is a Dixie recast. I can accept a good recast of Dixie. I hope she comes back! :)

it won't happen, they just wont do that. i don't like Dixie, nor McClain and never have, but i don't think they will. Tad has pretty much moved on from Dixie, and so has the storyline, it would serve no purpose to bring that character back. This is one death that will stay permanate. I can guarnetee it.

Tad's moved on from Dixie by having a stupid fling with Krystal. I think the show is going the Krystal/David route anyway. I did enjoy Tad with Simone --- hopefully they'll start that up again. But I can really see Dixie coming back! Soaps will do ANYTHING for ratings --- and bringing back popular characters is the best (even if they have new faces). I never thought Maria or Kendall would come back... but we got both of them.

While this is true, i still don't think this is going to happen. Fronz was mighty po'ed when McClain left for CBS but we'll see i guess.

I thought it was OK --- wish we got more flashbacks, though. I loved seeing Agnes Nixon!

Cady could return, but if she did, it probably wouldn't be for a long time. She's happy at ATWT and now has a contract with them, and is in a front burner storyline. Her character is very popular on ATWT, so I doubt she's going anywhere :)

And with Frons at the helm of ABC Daytime, I doubt he'd let her return to AMC considering how he feels about actresses in their 30's and 40's :mad:

I've been off and on with All My Children for a few years now. I used to watch it all the time years ago, but today it's just enough to know who everyone is and the basic storylines without really watching the show day in and day out. I have Soapnet so sometimes I rely on the weekend marathon to see what happened during the week. I caught a bit of the anniversary episode and was kinda spooked seeing Phoebe. She used to be one of my favorite characters. It was kinda tough seeing how old she's gotten. My last hardcore AMC viewing was back when they had Kevin the gay teen, Trevor and Janet from another planet, Terrence and Taylor. Those were the days.

I've been watching AMC since I was five-years-old (now 32). Sometimes the storyline does get weak. But it's the characters that have been on since I started watching that keep me. Anymore, one might think it were a British soap with Aidan, Zach, and Ethan. But any woman would have to admit, that AMC have got the hottest men of any soap on television!!! Yummy!

Miranda is my angel she is the cutest baby. I miss her already. Oddly enough I looked forward to scenes with Miranda in them. Funny thing is that in real life Miranda is played by twins who are boys not girls!

the real dixie IS coming back. This is a Soap Opera. They can bring back people from the dead if they wanted to. It's up to her if she wants to return. I just looked at the one of the SOD site and they just confirmed that she will be back. :happyface They wanted to know from the fans, what will happen when she comes back looking like her old self. What will the Chandler's think? Nobody has anwser yet on that board. I will keep you updated if I don't see any new news yet on here. Plus my mom's old maid who she now takes care of. She's 92. She gets SOD in the mail and read about Cady coming back. So she is sending me the page of it. So I can read more about her return.

Yeah it's possible Cady McClain could come back to AMC, but right now it's doubtful cause she took time off from As the World Turns for personal reasons, and they left the door open for her to come back.

Yeah she has said she misses the AMC cast, but she seems very happy at ATWT, at AMC she got bored playing Dixie, cause Dixie was basically supposed to be this saint like woman, and Cady wanted Dixie to not be so perfect all the time ;)

I actually liked Babe & Jamie as a couple! I hate them now! LOL! Jamie still has a great bod, though.
And I guess this was before Ethan turned into an ass, because I said I liked him and Kendall together! Well, I like Kendall with Zach now.

Bionca ISN't coming back becuase just like the other stars that left in the past, she wants to do and better things. In fact Eden is looking into sitcoms in L.A. when she left AMC she moved down there. At "Fun In the Sun" here in DC last year she told that she was leaving the show and move to LA. But then she couldn't say why until SOD announced it.

It would be great if they recast Bianca. Pine Valley needs her!

I love Liza, and haven't been able to watch AMC since she, Vanessa, and Janet have left. Marcy Walker is a different type of actress, and is more dramatic. She's so talented that most of the time she didn't have to say a word her facial and body expressions did it all.

Yeah, the writers really ruined Liza. She had such great potential. I loved her back in the early '80s, and she was also great when she returned in '95. The writers made her weak -- a big mistake.

Janet's return has definitely added a LOT to the show! I can't wait to see what she does to insure Amanda's happiness!

And the romantic pairings are all, great, IMO. Zach and Kendall are amazing together. Ryan and Julia have great chemistry. Aidan and Erin are cute, and JR and Babe...I just don't know what to say. The way they are fighting their feelings for each other is such a great thing to see, and I can't wait for them to finally just give in to it and remarry!

I have been very dissapointed so far with the return of Janet. first off, i thought that they should have asked Robin Matteson back. secondly, they've totally ruined the character now, when she left the show last, Janet was redeemed and was a hero, they showed how she could be a hero and a productive member of society, but now thats ruined. they can never redeem her now. Also i'm not impressed with Kate Collins, shes taking everything far too over the top.

As for the rest of the show, currently the only story i have any interest in is the JR/Babe story and the Adam/Krystal story, everything else is leaving me bored and making me switch the channel, i've evern started to, gasp, watch Days Of Our Lives somedays. and anyone that knows me knows what a huge deal that is. I love the character of Lilly, but not with Jonathan, she and Sam had a lot more chemistry, imho.

I wholeheartedly disagree. If they would have brought the late 90s version of Janet back sure, it would have been nice, but it is much more realistic to show that just because a psycho is treated and changed doesn't mean that they can't go back to their old ways.

The whole storyline is supposed to be over the top. It's supposed to be a light, fun alternative to the serious Kendall/Zach stuff and the big story involving Erica's connection to the Maddens.

Forget the current All My Children - it's awful. Let's take a look back. How about January 1985 - That Daisy is a real pip. I was shocked as hell when I found out that Marion had killed Zach Grayson all along and she was the one framing Daisy for the murder. And will somebody please tell Ellen that it's 1985 not 1975 - those really huge turtlenecks are out ;)

I have to admit, the show has definitely hit some rough spots in the last few weeks.

If the rumors about Josh's connection to Erica are true, I will be disappointed. Sure, it'd make for some great drama, but it would definitely be a big step backwards in my feelings for McTavish.

Ryan continues to be the most annoying character on the show. And he was doing so well just earlier this month, bonding with Kendall and Julia. I want a Ryan/Julia/Zach/Kendall quadrangle, but I want it to be based entirely on love and feelings, not revenge and manipulation.

Babe and JR are hitting the mark for me, for sure. Can't wait for them to remarry. Janet needs some serious help, but not for a while. I'm enjoying her little reign of terror, but after a few more weeks or so, it'll be old. I'm pretty sure that she'll be out later on around summer.

The show could vastly improve, and all it would take is a co-writer for McTavish.

Janet is my favorite!
