Looking at the Schedual they skipped "Chambers vs.Malone" The one where they decide to get married. They go from the one where Diane can't dance and go to "Diamond Sam"
WTH are they DOING THIS?? Maybe they are saving them for a valentines day show??? This really ticks me off.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one that was getting miffed about this! I believe they also skipped the 4th season episode "Diane Chambers Day" (which also featured some funny Diane and Sam action). Even though it annoyed me, I can excuse that, but skipping two of the best Sam and Diane episodes "The Proposal" and "Chambers vs. Malone" is inexcusable. Why are they doing this? Is there a chronologically-challenged programmer at Nick that can't follow the numbered episodes?

PS - Sorry for the rant, I am grateful to Nick-at-Nite for airing Cheers.

i dont know y N@N airs their eps so randomly. it gets really annoying. maybe they're trying to get one run over with(but if so, why would they skip GOOD episodes? take out "boring" ones, if there are any http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif )

Nick-at-Nite is having a lovely Cheers marathon dedicated to Diane and Sam! The episodes include "Gimme a Ring Sometime", "Showdown Part 1 and 2", "Power Play", "Rescue Me", "I'll Gladly Pay You Tuesday", "Fear is My Co-Pilot", "Diane Chambers Day", "The Proposal", "Chambers vs. Malone", "One Last Fling", and "I Do, Adieu". That's 6 hours of Diane and Sam! Gotta go.

Love always,
Diane Chambers

Diane: Oh, Sam, how much more evidence do you need that we were not made in heaven? We turn into idiots in each other's company. The difference in your case is barely perceptable, but it's starting to bother me!

When is that marathon airing? "Chambers vs. Malone" is one of the best episodes of the series, and that's saying a lot.
N@N is really foolish for scheduling the episodes this way. These episodes of "Cheers" are semi-serialized, and it's extremely important for viewers, especially first-time ones, that they're aired in order.
