I've seen Pat and Mike, On Golden Pond and Woman of the Year as well. I think Hepburn's a great actress- I'm looking to see many more of her films (esp. The Philadelphia Story). I didn't think Woman of the Year was as good as many of the reviews I had read said it was.

Wow that's a hard one, especially since I've seen almost all of them. In my film class last semester we were doing a study of genre in films, and watched a ton of Kate Hepburn movies. I voted for Lion in Winter, but I really wish I could have voted for more than one.

Little Women, Mary of Scotland, Stage Door, Bringing Up Baby, African Queen, Philadelphia Story, Desk Set, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, On Golden Pond... all of those are classics, for good reason. Kate was perfect in every one.

I almost voted for The Madwoman of Chaillot. It was such an amazing performance in an extremely weird film. I think it's her best performance of all time. The only reason I couldn't pick it is because it's just too odd. Not many people remember it, but if you come across it, check it out.

The only movie of hers I didn't like was Christopher Strong. She just didn't make it as an excitable, passionate, English ladyship. She's got too much of the hard yank in her ;)

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner...probably one of her most genuine performances at the peak of a remarkable career.
