Hi,

Are they going to redo the season 1 discs?

Why they would have to re- do them?

Because they are spread across 9 discs and some are closed-captioned and some are not.

I heard they were considering redoing them but wasn't sure if they had decided if they were going to or not.

I heard Columbia House captioned or were going to caption the dvds that weren't captioned.

They should be redone so they look like the Season 2 set.

Some parts of the Season II are not captioned either.

Which parts? I have season 2 and they seem to have captioned all of the discs. I haven't watched every episode though.

It's on certain episodes from Disc 2 on (I think). It starts with the caption and halfway there's nada
There is a 'flub' out of those too because the caption for what Ricky is saying in a scene somewhere shows up as Desi! LOL

Okay, well I haven't seen that yet but I'm not saying that doesn't happen. They didn't caption some of the discs of season 1 at all (no caption symbol on the case of some of the dvds and no captions).

I think they should redo season 1.

That's kinda expensive to re- do them. I don't think many people will spend $90 again for a captioned set. In others words; it's not market friendly.
