NEW CATEGORY FOR "JEOPARDY": CLASH OF THE TITANS
Jennings to face best of best.

We have not seen the last of newly minted millionaire Ken Jennings.

That's because the "Jeopardy!" champ will have a chance to fortify his pile of money when he faces past winners from "Jeopardy's" 21-year history in a showdown with Jennings for a $2 million cash prize.

Longtime host Alex Trebek called the tournament the "Quest for Ken".

Here's how it works: Past winners from the show's "Tournament of Champions," "College Championship" and "Teen Tournament" - as well as approxmately 150 of the top-scoring, undefeated, five-time champions - will face off in a series of rounds.

The last two left standing will face Jennings in the finals.

The tournament will begin in February or March, according to a "Jeopardy!" spokesman. And the final round will air during may sweeps.

"Ever since Ken started his amazing run, people have been speculating on how some of the past "Jeopardy!" players would do against him," said Trebek in a statement. "By scheduling this tournament, we've answering that question."

"I've been a fan of the show for a very long time,"said Jennings, "and I well remember some of the big players. I would love the opportunity to meet them on the 'Jeopardy!' field of battle. I can't wait to see who I'll be up against the finals."

The tournament will be a windfall of sorts for many of the players because they are all guaranteed some prize money - with the finalists raking in the $250,000 for third place and $500,000 for second place.

Jennings is the show's all-time highest earner and the richest contestant in game show history.

His 74-game winning streak netted him $2,520,700.

He was finally beaten by California real-estate agent Nancy Zerg during a September 7th taping, although viewers didn't learn of Jennings' demise until the end of November, when the show finally aired.

And what question finally tripped Jennings up?

"Most of this firm's 70,000 seasonal white-collar employees works only four months a year."

Jennings answered "FedEx".

The correct answer: "H&R Block".
