I think you mean Fay Wray. That's King Kong's girlfriend in the 1930's pic, for those of you who don't know.
musicradio77 12-30-2004, 11:44 PM Fay Wray was the actress that she was in "King Kong" back in 1933.

He will be sadly missed. God bless Dimebag. His untimely death could not have happened to a nicer guy in all of metal. I was hoping one day once I get onstage at Ozzfest or somewhere with my *scintillating* guitar playing, I would be able to hang with him, shoot the s:censored: and have a brew with him and talk guitar and stuff. But I won't get that chance now. :(
Let's not forget Johnny Ramone.
And of course we can't forget MY MOTHER. :crying:

Yasir Arafat
He was terrorist scum. I do not think he deserves a tribute.
Ronald Reagan
As a fellow republican, he was like a second father to me. Urgghhh. Yasser Arafat. Least missed pusbag of all of 2004. When I think of all his crap like the Achille Lauro back in the 80's where his lackeys threw a wheelchair passenger overboard, it makes my blood boil. If there was a person who was perhaps worse than Osama bin Laden, it was definitely Arafat. Hope you're enjoying your new residence...in HELL, Yasser, ya fat frying little greaseball.
There's my tribute to the man, the myth, the crackling little wad of
toasty flesh heap that was Yasser. Boo hoo, I'm so mean.
Props to our Superman, Christopher Reeve. He died in the same weekend as my mother. And he died of something not even related to his injuries. Life can be so cruel :(
Artie Shaw just passed away. I'm sorry to hear it, but the man was in his nineties. Honestly, I was surprised to learn he was still alive. He was a great bandleader of the thirties and forties, who dated just about every famous actress of the time. Judy Garland was in love with him, he was married to Lana Turner, Ava Gardner, and Evelyn Keyes, among others. That man was one of a kind ;)
Terry Melcher died a little while ago as well. He was Doris Day's son, and a successful music producer. It was he that Charles Manson first went to as a struggling musician. Supposedly it was Terry's refusal that led Manson to send his "family" to Melcher's house - where Sharon Tate was having a party. :(

I'm a liberal democrat, but aside from the man's politics, he did make two very good movies with Doris Day and a wonderful one with Shirley Temple ;)

I love Shirley Temple. She was cute back in the 1930's. I have some more people who died in 2004, Artie Shaw, clarnist from the Big Band era and this one who died since I read the paper yesterday. A.J. Richard, the founder of P.C. Richard & Sons. The store that makes electronics. He was a pioneer in electronics giant.

Well, I hope you don't take offense at my being a republican.
huh?
I have no problems with republicans, I was just saying that although I didn't agree with Reagan politically, I respected him as an actor and I was sorry to hear he had passed.
I hope you don't take offense at my being a democrat
Noble Willingham who played C.D. Parker on Walker, Texas Ranger.
musicradio77 01-02-2005, 01:23 AM One of the greatest sportscaster of the Mets had died back in 2004 was Bob Murphy. I found this aircheck from the Hank Hayes website that he did a show doing his Bob Murphy sketch. This was from a pirate radio in Brooklyn, NY called WHOT at 91.5 (91 1/2) The station interfeared with WNYE-FM on the same dial position at the time in which they run public radio and some broker programming. They played nothing but fake Top 40. Here is an aircheck of a Hank Hayes show doing his Bob Murphy inpersonation. This was from July 5th, 1988, the day after the 4th of July.
Bob Murphy Day - Part 1 (http://rfny.us/ram/boba.ram)
Bob Murphy Day - Part 2 (http://rfny.us/ram/bobb.ram)
Thanks to Hank Hayes for this 2-part portion of this aircheck. Enjoy!
