This morning, the episode where we learn that Helen never told Davis she was marrying Joe was on N@N. And, since "Whose Wife is it Anyway?" was on very recently, it was fresh in my mind. I noticed a lot of differences in the flashback scenes from the originals.

Davis's hair was much longer in the flashback scenes than it was in the first show, Joe was wearing a slightly different sweater than in the first show, Helen was wearing a very different dress than in the first show, and the elevator itself was completely different.

I'm sure no one noticed these things when the second show originally aired, but to see them practically back-to-back was strange.

I'm a continuity geek so I love looking for that stuff.

Yep, it's totally different, cuz producers don't think fans are smart enough to spot those things.

A big time I noticed it was on an ep of Frasier. He was flashing back to when he first arrived in Seattle and right off the bat I notice that his hair is not as long as it was in season 1. I'm like, would it kill the crew to get him some hair extensions for that scene?

And you can always spot when a new season starts. Everyone's haircut/sytle is always different. I.E., when Alex leaves the island, Brians hair is long and shaggy. Supposedly the next day when he's pining for her, it's short and styled different.

I'm kind of geeky when it comes to things like that too.

But, speaking of new seasons of Wings, I was in graduate school from August 1990 until August 1993, and then worked 2 jobs from September 1993 through early 1995 and then worked nights from July 1995 until May of 1996, so I only rarely got to see episodes of Wings until after Joe and Helen got married. This means I am only now getting to see some of those really early episodes, and of course, that's just in time for N@N to take it off the air. Anyway, I am only now seeing the opening credits the way they were originally aired, and I really like them. Well yesterday, I was watching "House Hunters" on HGTV, and the televisions in the model house they were showing had the lighthouse scene from the Wings opener. I was so pleased with myself that I knew immediately what it was.

Also in an early episode Joe said he couldn't give Lowell a review of his work cause he worked for the airport, but then in a later episode, Joe and Roy wouldn't give Lowell a raise

And, in one of yesterday's episodes, Roy referred to his "late" wife, but in later episodes, we are told that he and Sylvia are divorced. And then, of course, we even get to meet Sylvia.

She looked pretty good for a dead woman. ;)

I can tell what episode it is just based on Thomas Haden Church's hair.
I can tell just by if his hair is hidden under Lowell's cap or if his hair is long, thick and sprouting out of Lowell's cap, or during the rare times where he's not wearing the orange cap at all. :crazy:

It also seemed like Thomas had a different haircut in every episode of Ned and Stacey, so you knew which episode of N&S it was just by looking at either his hair or his suit(s) of the episode.

That's not a goof. Roy admitted that he lied about his wife's death because he was too embarrassed to admit she left him.

I obviously missed that particular episode. My bad. :o

Can anybody tell me when the episode where Lowell eats the "marshmallows" is coming up? I haven't seen that episode in YEARS and it's the funniest.
