haha I remember a million years ago when one popped up that said YOU ARE A WINNER, so my cousin and me like went to the site and were getting her parents. Ahaha, ****ing hilarious.

Anyone ever have these encounters?

i remember the first major pop-up campaign, the one with those STUPID X-10 cameras.... I wrote a number of emails to Yahoo complaining that the longer you were on their site, the more of them would pop-under your current window, until your machine got so bogged down IE would completely bail.

It took a while before Yahoo realized how much people HATE pop-unders (I'd like to smack the dirty buggers who thought THOSE up)
