I don't think I've ever seen it on NBC. I started watching after it ended.

I did. I watched them after "A Different World" went off at 9pm.

No, I don't remember. You might want to find someone on the board who has taped the show from that era.

Yes, I remember seeing the original airings, but only from the early 90's. Every Thursday night, my parents watched The Cosby Show, A Different World and then Cheers. I also remember seeing the final episode in May of 1993.

As for the theme song used in the 90's, it was the version with the harmony.

Oh I totally grew up on Cheers on NBC! Their power-house Thursday night line-up will probly never be outdone in my opinion. My mom and I watching Cosby at 8, Family Ties at 8:30, Cheers at 9, and Night Court at 9:30. Ah, the glory days.

was that all episodes, or just the eps in the 90's?(seasons 9-11 I think)

I have seen the original NBC airings of Cheers from the 80's and 90's both.

The early 90's had the harmony, I'm pretty sure they used the version without the harmony during the early years, but I could be wrong.

I was a pretty faithful watcher during the entire NBC run. The first three seasons (82-85) used the theme without the harmony, and the rest (85-93) had the harmony.
