The theme song for this show was sung by Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams. They also had a song called "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late" when it was a hit back in 1978 before "Family Ties" came along 4 years later.

I like the song a great deal, and when I rented the S1 DVD over the weekend, I was shocked that another pair actually sang the theme song in the earliest episodes. I think I actually liked the first version of the song better!!!
