View Full Version : It's that time of the year..
InspectorExstead 12-28-2004, 06:24 PM If there was a new season in January, we'd all be on right now, discussing the latest lifetime commercials and sharing thoughts on how the premiere would go. I've been so busy that the fact that there will be no new season hadn't really sunk in. Now since it's winter break and the time when I'd normally be obsessed with recording those commericals, I'm feeling a little sad. Hopefully this will go away when repeats start airing....
#1_Nancy_McKeon 12-29-2004, 02:31 AM Yeah, it's just not the same though. Repeats aren't going to take the place of the anticipation for the new season... I don't even watch Lifetime anymore.

I don't even watch TV anymore. There's really no show I can get into as much as I got into TD.

Up until about five days ago I would have said the same thing, but I got sick with the flu and have been off work... So now I channel surf. lol I was so sick I'd just lay there and push buttons. I would have put in a tape, but again... I didn't want to get up. It was bad.
I agree though there's nothing out there that can get my attention like The Division did. I'd really like it on DVD.
*MIBabe03* 12-29-2004, 02:00 PM It's really sad. I do miss the show, and all of the conversations we used to have. Such as "Will Jinny fall off the wagon?" Memories.

I got really turned off from Lifetime when they started messing with The Division, then Missing, then Wild Card. It seems to me that the only show they really care about is Strong Medicine.
GothicJinnyEx 12-29-2004, 06:15 PM I feel same way as u guys--:( :crying: :dizzy:

I seriously cannot stand that show. Everytime I see a commercial for it, I have to change the channel. I actually used to like the show but now...after everything, I can't stand to watch it. Or hear about it....

I completely agree.
MovieHuntress17 01-01-2005, 05:01 PM This time last year i was walkin around singing "11 days to go,11 days to go0o0o0o,11 days till The Divisiiiiiiion...." and my mom and my grandma and everybody were lookin at me like I had lost my friggin mind. But now i'm just sitting here thinkin over and over ' 11 days to go...till nothin." :crying: :crying:
New Years eve just wasn't the same.Nope. It was much more exciting the last 4 years, when it ment the start of a new year, and only a few days to go till TD. last year probably about this time, i was adding up how many hours there were to go. Ohhhhh welllll *sigh* :( :( :( :( At least most everybody is still doin movies y'know. Got to look forward to Nancy's (though it was kinda disapointing) And Tracey's new movie (also not as good as I thought it was gonna be) And Taraji and Bonnie have new movies comin out,so...it's not TD but it's something to look forward to.

I agree...The Division was like no other and I will never get hyped up about a show as I did for td.
Miranda- I'm really hoping Lifetime decides to put the show on DVD. That'll sort of soothe the pain.
Tracey had a movie?! And Bonnie and Taraji are going to have one to? Can someone fill me in?
InspectorExstead 01-01-2005, 06:38 PM Okay...totally off topic- did you guys see the last post where it says "originally posted by...."? I didn't type anything in, but my computer started doing all those funky things, with the percentages and everything. It's been happening on college apps too, when ever I copy and paste my essays, or even type it directly on the thing. I'm not good with computers- does anyone know why my computer is being so annoying?
Warm & Fuzzy 01-04-2005, 10:31 PM Sniff sniff. I miss TD!!! :crying:

I don't watch Lifetime either. My TV viewing consists of Boomerang (my grandson's fave channel) and he likes Disney Movies, Small Soliders, James and the Giant Peach, Pinccohio, Casper, Elmo, Nigthmare Before Christmas, Lady and the Tramp, Scooby Doo. And of course he loves to play Hit & Run the Simpson's on Nintendo Game Cube. He is pretty good at it. That is about the extent of my television watching. Although I have been to a lot of the new movies out there. I recently saw Meet the Fockers. Very good as was National Treasure. But Lifetime I don't even care to watch anymore. The lost the best show they had when they cancelled The Division. Bad move in my book.
