I love Gilmore Girls, but before just about a month ago I was a Gilmore Girl virgin, so I am way behind on some stuff.

I've watched the complete 1st season and I am ordering hte 2nd season, so I'll be caught up to that point, and I've watched a handful of the new shows from the current season, and a lot of shows from ABC family. but I still have a few questions....

Why did Emily and Richard split up?

Why did Max and Laurali split up?

Who is Alex?? (Laurali boyfriend I know, but where did he come from?)

Why did Dean marry Lindsey and what started the th ing between him and rory again?

Who is Rory with right now? (Jesss? Dean?? Someone else??)

Why did Emily and Richard split up? Don't know. I didn't see that episode.

Why did Max and Laurali split up? It was never really explained, but I think Luke made Lorelai realize she wasn't in love with him.

I think rory is now mixed up with dean and that new guy from the college.

After dean and rory broke up at the dance dean started dating Lindsey an they got married. Rory was not hapy but went on with life then when lorelai got the dragonfly opening dean started working on the construction thing and rory kept on seeing him and they were starting to "FALL BACK IN LOVE" and a couple nights when rory was so upset with her college and work she went to look for her mom but she was not ther but dean was and she got to crying in his arms. They kept on and on meeting and Lindsey was telling dean she was not letting him see rory any more but he still did finally at the dragonfly they almost kissed but somebody came up and stopped them. Later that episode dean was at her house and Rory was looking for music and stuff and dean come to her and they well did ya know LOL and ever since then they were a couple. The song for them to remember that night was the candy man can LOL and you should know the rest :)

I never really understood the overall MAIN reason why they split. I think it was mixed things with him working with that one guy (lorilies old boyfriend...the buisness guy i cant think of his name now) Emily did not like that and I think the yelling was a big factor. Remember in season 2 ( YOU WILL BE SEEING IT in season 2) they were having a "hard" time. I have a feeling they will be getting back together though. I am sorry I am not sure about this one. Like you said I do think a small part was because richard was not treating emaily equal it was always his buisness 1st.

Oh yes and max and lorilie they split because she realized she did not love him....I think she still had the love for chris. Afterall at her bachlorette party she called chris...remember when she came into rorys room saying PACK we are going on a road trip....a little bit later you realize that she does not love max any more....

Actually it is not. If you have seen the EMILY IN WONDERLAND episode then you will know that they lived in starshollow but not in the "MAIN" part. They lived in that shed. Lorilie fixed it all up Rory said and was showing it to her grandmother, Emily and Emily freaked and ran away. Then they eventually moved into their current home. Lorlie most likely did not know about Racheal and Luke because she really did not "live" at the diner like she does now. In one of the episodes in Season 2 Rory was talking about how Lorilie called Luke like Lu or something like that for a while and I dont think Rory would have remembered that (even though she is very intelligent) if she was like 1 to 3 or 5 years old. So I think that a while after luke and racheal had ended(or so we thought) Lorilie started going there practically living there.LoL

And I dont know when season 3 is coming out prolly not for a while because S2 just came out in December. I would assume that it may come out march or june because my bday is in june and GG S1 had just came out and then december (6 months later) GG S2 came out so maybe in another 5-6 months GG S3 will arrive but i am not saying it will ;)

Yeah it was on. I thought it was on at 3, but it was really on at 2, so I only caught the last 10 minutes of it :(

Yeah, more than likely he left for a starring role on the O.C. rather than be an occasional character on Gilmore Girls.
It paid off, becasue O.C. has become a big hit.
I believe they simply stated in an episode that his chracter went away for college, never to be heard form again.
It would be nice if they brought him back for a cameo, althought I doubt FOX will let him go back to his old show.
