For those of us who love MTM, no mater what show she's on, I just want to let you know she's coming back to TV Jan 01, 2005! No, it's not a new show (I just realized how I sounded there), it's TMTMS, which was removed from programming by TV Land. She'll be on Broadcast, Satellite, & Cable TV here in Chicago on something called WWMECA. Hopefully, that's true nationally too. Go to your favorite TV Listings site and run a check to see if she'll be on in your area!party:

That's good news, Steve! Have we heard any more on whether or not TMTMS season 2 will be released soon? I've been keeping my ear open for that news.

Nah. There are those who claim to have heard talk of a "TMTMS Season 2" release, but I can't confirm anything. It seems at the moment to be just a wish, and we remember what that was like, don't we? ;)
It's the old Catch 22; unless there is a commitment from the distributors to release all the episodes in the series, fans won't get too excited about buying, and unless fans buy whatever is released, the distributors aren't going to get too excited about producing more dics. :(

I found a sort of interesting article featuring classic TV's "stay-at-home" Moms. Check it out.

I'm afraid I disagree with the gist of this article. Being a housewife is a hard job and am extremely worthwhile one.

Nora,
I must have missed the subliminal suggestion in the article that being a stay-at-home-mom was easy and somehow frivolous. Enlighten me  ?

Thanks for posting that article Steve. I enjoyed reading it. I think they missed a character trait about Laura, though, in that she genuinely enjoyed being a housewife for Rob and Richie. She may have been frustrated at times with "suburbia" but she stayed home by her own choice, not because she was a prisoner or something. (Remember how she worked for Rob but in the end she said she just wanted to help him out, not pursue a career.)
I think Laura is a great example for housewives - you can be happy staying at home and you can look cute while your doing it, too! ;)

Hi,
I didn't think this was worth it's own thread, so I thought I'd just post it here.
Interesting, no?

That is interesting, Steve. It is amazing what pops up on e-bay from time to time.
