There are some screen shots of Gilligan's Island on some web sites. The colour was very good and they have a Nick at Nite watermark in the corner of each picture. I don't receive Nick at Nite where I am and was wondering if the episodes shown are uncut.

N@N stopped airing GI about 2 years ago, probably more. It moved to TV Land, but it's been gone from there for a while too. The episodes weren't shown uncut, but were edited differently from TBS, so put the two together and you almost get the full episode. Haha. The DVD's are the best way to go for the full ep.

The same thing happens here as well. I almost got the complete episode of one of my favourites, "Pass the Vegetables Please" from season 3, using recordings from 2 different tv stations but still had the bit where the Professor describes what a truffle is to Gilligan missing. What annoyed me was later in the episode Gilligan tries tell Mary Ann what truffles are and attempts to give the Professors answer so you're left wondering why Gilligan gives his mixed up explanation.
That's one huge reason I'm so looking forward to the DVD's. Seeing these episodes uncut is a dream come true. Of course no poor quality prints, no watermarks, no voiceovers, no ad sign outs and no ads aren't bad reasons either. Come on Jan 11.
