Does anyone know if they will release 8 simple rules 1st season on dvd soon or in the next year sometime? i hate to say this but i never wanted this show until after the passing of john ritter and it has nothing to do with ritter himself it was the network this show is on, im not to crazy about ABC these days, as far as ritter i have always loved him in his movies TV/Motion picture and all his tv shows with the exception of 8 simple rules that i have not seen yet, infact i just bought a video of 1 of his early movies on ebay Hero AT Large on vhs and i wouldnt buy vhs if i didnt like someone and of course who doesnt love jack tripper threes company, please let me know if its comming on dvd 8 simple rules that is.

Tv shows on dvd has a voting for the show to be put on dvd. I have a feeling it will be put on dvd in the next couple of years.

Well, with the way things are now looking for the show, I really wouldn't expect to see it coming to dvd anytime too soon. Of course, this is my opinion. Speaking of which, you mentioned about the movie 'Hero at Large'. Is it a good movie? One of his movies that I've been trying to get for the longest time( a made for t.v. movie) 'The Only Way Out' with Henry Winkler. Boy, does Mr. Winkler play some role. If you ever have the chance to see it, watch it. It's a really good movie. :thumbsup:

Isnt that the the 1 where winkler and ritters characters get into a fight at the end? hero at large is a very good movie, john ritter plays an out of work actor promoting this film captain avenger by apearing at local theatres dressed up like the superhero, and one night after work he walks into this little market still in his superhero suit and afterwards these old people that own the market get held up by a couple of punks so johns character stops the robbery and saves the day but because he is still in the captain avenger suit the old couple think he really is the superhero and then the news picks up on this the next day and he becomes famouse but people dont want to know who he really is, this movie has ann archer in it too its a wonderful movie, allthough it was a motion picture it didnt seem like one it seemed more like something you would expect to see as a tv movie, but its still my #1 john ritter movie.
