what was this like? who has seen it?

and the longer theme song...when was it aired? as a part for clips, or the actual theme song of the show? either way, what pics were shown during it?

I remember seeing the 200th episode special. It was cool. They had the whole cast on stage in front of an audience while John Mcglaughlin (Is that his name?) asked them questions and played old clips. The longer version of the theme was played during clips towards the end of the episode.

Shelley Long showed up for it too, although she sat next to the Charles brothers and James Burrows, rather than with the rest of the cast.

but i heard they walked around Boston. and were they playing their characters(sam, diane, norm), or were they the actors (ted, shelly, george)?

ok...theres a question about the opening theme. What was the extended version from(the one w/ the long instrumental part in the middle)?? was it aired, if so, when?
