We have several little RCA antennas with signal boost that we feed into the cable so that we can get digital HDTV on the channels that broadcast it.

We SHOULD Get WB Without Cable Since the Local WB Station is only in Presque Isle (Like 15-20 miles away)
ABC & NBC Are from Bangor and Also only on cable.
We dont get UPN At All.
We dont have a Local Fox, But the beauty of that is they'res FOX-Net. The station they give all the towns without a local Fox.

It isn't going anywhere before Christmas. But this next ridge looks very impressive. Should push the jet stream way north. 80's in FL. 60's all the way up here. :D Also..it looks like the freeze line is being pushed north of the boarder...so perhaps some rain for you in the future.

Tried it once, didnt like it at all. I like to spread it out over two days, some on Christmas Eve (Little ones) and the bigger gifts on Christmas day. Perfect way.

Technically its the day to celebrate Jesus's Birth and Family Togetherness.
The actual meaning of Christmas has nothing to do with presents. Therefor opening them on Christmas eve takes absolutely nothing away from the Holiday itself.

Technically its the day to celebrate Jesus's Birth and Family Togetherness.
The actual meaning of Christmas has nothing to do with presents. Therefor opening them on Christmas eve takes absolutely nothing away from the Holiday itself. Of course...But that doesnt mean it doesnt make it more fun.

We go to my aunts house on Christmas Eve and have dinner, than on Christmas we have like, a huge party with my whole family at my house.

Yes, I know that, but Christmas Eve isn't a holiday so that's why I wouldn't want to open it then.

Christmas eve is when my direct family spends time together, and open a few presents and stuff.
Christmas Day is when we open all the rest of the gifts and eat dinner.
Who said presents were what Christmas was about? I'm talking about celebrating the day, not what the day is about.

Nothing wrong with doing it on Christmas Eve, technically it is part of the Holiday anyway. We celebrate Christmas on both days, just open the gifts for the most part on Christmas Day.
EmoJoe 12-24-2004, 04:33 PM This is how it works for me:
Christmas Eve- Spend time with my dads side of the family and have dinner and stuff there, open gifts there
Christmas Morning- My moms side of the family comes over around 10 or 11, we open gifts, have christmas dinner around 2:30- 3, and yeah.

Christmas Eve and Day are the two days I consider Christmas since we celebrate on both days and they're both fun...Christmas Eve's celebration is just shorter, it's from nightfall and then just lasts until Christmas night. The only reason it stops is because we have to sleep.
New Years eve even feels Christmasy. All the lights are still up and the Tree's still there. It's usually the last day of the Christmasy feel.

That thing is well made, the plastic is really heavy and it still plays pretty well (although the sound is a little fuzzy) I watched it about a year ago.

Between Brownsville and Houston Texas they could get 3-5 inches of snow tonight. A white Christmas in Gulf Coastal Texas, that's a one in a million chance.
