I just read that convicted murderer Jerry Lee Bowen has been captured. In 2000, he was convicted of the 1997 murder of his wife Brenda. But before sentencing, he disappeared. He was ultimately sentenced to life in prison in absentia. UM aired his story in 2001.

That story was just on Unsolved Mysteries yesterday. :eek:

That is a case I've never seen but would like to see. Perhaps on a Vol 17, CD?

Huh. I had never heard of this case before today - saw it on a show on Investigative Discovery and was surprised to find it had been profiled on UM. APparently, Lifetime did show the segment, but I had never seen it.
