Bill Cosby - A professor at a community college where Lamont decides to take classes, much to Fred's annoyance.

Pam Grier - A new beat cop who starts dating Lamont, though he feels emasculated, and whom Fred goes ga ga over.

Flip Wilson - Proprietor of new comedy club where Fred wants badly to try his hand at standup.

Sherman Helmsley - George Jefferson, of course! If not that, then a junk man who opens up a shop with the guise of "antiques" which angers Fred.

Pearl Bailey - Local churchwoman and new friend of Esther who has a confrontation with Fred- and actually puts him in his place. Fred plots to get back at her.

Flip Wilson - I think the Rev. Leroy character of Flip's would have been good. He could have been in some way associated with Aunt Esther and her church.

Richard Pryor - His character would somehow be connected to Rollo, maybe a cousin.
