Although it wasn't a sitcom, does anyone remember Story Theatre, one of the first prime time access shows to air in syndication in 1971? The show was based on an Off-Broadway revue by Paul Sills that featured improvised versions of fables and children's stories. Some of the actors on the show included Peter Bonerz, Bob Dishy, Judy Graubart (who was also on PBS's The Electric Company) and Melinda Dillon. The one thing I remember about Story Theatre was the theme song "Sing it All Together" by The Rolling Stones.
