I do not like Texas. Who else does not like Texas? If I could rip off a chunk of land from the United States, it'd be Texas. Thanks.

I don't like the Midwest.. they take up too much room. New Jersey should be the size of all those states. Amen.

You don't like it because it's the second largest state?

I had a teacher at my alma mater who went to Texas A&M and according to him he hated every minute of it. It was because his beliefs and his lifestyle clashed with the state's and its people. I've never been to Texas but I'd love to go to see the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros at their respective stadiums.

Hey some of the nicest people I know are Texans, but as far as the states goes, I have only been there twice, and I thought it was not that bad, actually (though.. very flat) it was quite beautiful, and the people are very polite which is a Big Plus in my book, because where I live people are all rude and do not have any manners..:)

I feel people in other parts of the country have a lot of stereotypes and misconceptions about Texas. Yes there are rednecks and yes they do listen to a lot of country music. But, as someone with lots of Texas relatives, I can say that it is also a very diverse state with elements from many different cultures. And there are a surprising number of liberals there too! :D

I've seen the 'stros at their stadium...but haven't seen the rangers yet. I try to go to at least one 'stros game a year, its pretty cool. Especially the train :)

I live in TX and I'm not a redneck, I don't speak 'texan' and I don't listen to country music 24/7.:D
Yes, like in every state there are a lot of different cultures mixed in and that gives each state a different quality from the others but doesn't make them any worse/better.
