Well, the holidays will not be too good for my family this time around. My mom went to the hospital this morning and has to stay there and will be having surgery either on chrismas eve or christmas day and then has to stay to recuperate so she will only get out if all looks good after the holidays.

I'm sorry to hear that. That's so sad, especially in the holiday season. I hope your mother gets well soon. :(
