I have a lot of favorites: "Flaming Forties," "Rashomama," the one when Ellen wins Woman of the Year, "Family Feud," and others that I can't think of at the moment.

Sterling Holobyte 12-22-2004, 12:22 PM "Family Feud" is good! I also like the one where Mama thinks that Carl is cheating on her with another dead person! And I like the supporting role of Sonya's geeky boyfriend Michael in that episode, "I'm on bended knee! ...Would someone please tell her I'm on bended knee?!" Everyone: "He's on bended knee, Sonya!" Michael: "Sonyaaaa pleeeeeaaassssseeeeee!" Leigh Ann 12-22-2004, 12:44 PM Originally posted by Sterling Holobyte "Family Feud" is good! Mama: Of course with a H, otherwise it would be Arper! Penny Lane 12-24-2004, 10:44 AM Originally posted by Leigh Ann I have a lot of favorites: "Flaming Forties," "Rashomama," the one when Ellen wins Woman of the Year, "Family Feud," and others that I can't think of at the moment. Those are my favorites too. I also like the Uncle Roy episode and the one about the cemetary mix-up.:) Also Mama's 30th birthday . Young Eunice was SO annoying! Dennis3264 12-29-2004, 07:23 PM Originally posted by Leigh Ann Yeah, I like that one also. Especially this part: Cemetary guy: Is that Harper with a H? They don't even compare to the syndicated episodes. The syndicated episodes are the only reason I really like the show... bb25 01-06-2005, 07:57 PM There are many enjoyable eps from the NBC years. Among them: "Supermarket" "The Mama Who Came to Dinner" "Mama Learns to Drive" But my fav NBC ep has to be..."Rashomama". It's so hilarious! A classic TV episode...  Eric777 03-22-2005, 02:26 PM No Room At The Inn Mama Learns To Drive Supermarket Country Club Gert Rides Again Joker85 03-23-2005, 01:43 AM the first 13 episodes are all among my favorites. I don't think it gets better than season one. But, as for the NBC eps in general, some of my most favorite eps include: Cellmates (my favorites MF ep of all time) Rashomama The Wedding part 1 The Wedding part 2 Fran's Dress Flaming Forties Supermarket Gert Rides Again Mama's Birthday hughpuppies 03-23-2005, 06:42 PM I like when Mama runs for Mayor of Raytown against Mayor Tutweller, and wins. The things Ellen does to mama so that Mayor Tutweller could win. Where Ellen wins Lady of the year award and Mama, Vint, and Naomi show up acting like a bunch of white trash hillbillies. Where Mama gets her drivers liscense and she finally gets to get her picture taken and makes a face after camera lady asks if she was really going to wear the hat in the picture and camera lady snaps it and says there you go and mama says not fair I was making a face do over, camera lady says can't do next. When Aunt fran dies and vint asks Reveran Metchum, if fish go to heaven too. Any episod with Aunt Effie in it. gidgetgrape 03-24-2005, 12:18 PM Any episode with Eunice makes my day! :) My faves: 1. Rashomama - best episode ever, love Eunice's story especially  2. The Mama Who Came to Dinner - the part where Mama tells Naomi's friend she's pretty classy for a woman with a rip in her drawers  3. No Room at the Inn -the part where Mama wonders about why there's a mirror on the ceiling and when she watches the western  Mama's Family needs to be released on DVD now!!! |
