I'm sorry to be such a downer so close to Christmas but one of my dogs died yesterday. I have 4. Twinkie was 16. She was a mini-dachshund and Twinkie was her name when I adopted her from the animal shelter when she was 8. So I just kept it at Twinkie as to not confuse her since she had that name the 1st 8 years of her life. Yeah, I know she was old and it was her time but it's still pretty upsetting. I've been dealing with it. Some people may just think of her as just an animal, but to me, she was one of my 'kids', since I don't have any human kids of my own. I know that anybody who's an animal lover can relate.

I'm sorry to hear that. my dog died a few years ago, also close to Christmas time, so I know how it feels to lose a pet. :bighug:
