Interesting............I checked the TV LAND LITB schedule last night and it showed that the "Captain Jack" episode was set to play on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2. However, I had a look today and it's been changed to "Beaver Gets 'Spelled". Bummer. I don't think I've ever seen the CJ episode. Maybe some day on DVD.

That is a bummer. I have never seen it either and was looking forward to it! :(

What's scary is I've been a fan of this show for YEARS...and I've never seen it either!!!!:(

I guess they didn't show it originally because it showed the toilet but that couldn't be the reason now! :lol:

"Beaver Gets 'Spelled'" is the very first episode of LITB! "Captain Jack" is the second, so it'll probably be the very next episode to air.

Yes, this was the first toilet shown on network tv,:tv:still, only the tank was allowed to be shown.

Captain Jack is played by Edgar Buchannan, who would later go on to play Uncle Billy.:grr:

At the end of this episode Beaver and Wally receive a puppy that they name Captain Jack which is never seen again??:dog:

In a scene the family has with Captain Jack at the zoo, Barbara Billingsley looks seriously freaked out by the baby alligator in the scene.:eek:

I've posted this before, but they used to show "Captain Jack" and "Wally's Practical Joke" quite often as part of "Boxed sets" and "Vertivision" blocks, so maybe they've used up their allotment of how many times they can show these eps.

I do hope they'll be able to show them again sometime, so you all can get the chance to see them!
