View Full Version : I leave this to you....
Danisel331 12-20-2004, 04:39 AM Hello all!
Well, I know that I have been scarce around here lately, but I can tell you that if I told you all the reasons as to why, you wouldn't believe me. I know it's true and even I don't believe all of it. Anyway, I come here today to ask ya a simple question. Would you all like yet another calendar this coming year or have you grown tired of them yet? I'm going to leave it entirely up to you. :)
Cheryl Harrell 12-20-2004, 03:48 PM We're not tired of the calendars. I think you already knew that. You do a great job on them... :)
victorianscribe 12-20-2004, 04:41 PM OMG, I didn't want to be the first to speak up, but I'm definitely not tired of the calendars! I love Dani's creativity and imagination. I just hope she's not too busy/tired/stressed to make the calendars.
Dani, thank you for all your hard work!
sfditusa 12-20-2004, 05:51 PM I love them. Of course, if you feel it takes up too much time to do then don't feel pressured to do the calendar.
Sandra
hue_mee 12-20-2004, 08:31 PM Dani! I love to see what awesome creations you'll think up each and every month! Keep em coming!
Karen64 12-21-2004, 12:36 AM Dani, we love your creations! As an artist myself, I can understand that the inspiration for creating can intermittently come and go.
But if you've got that inspiration, keep creating those beautiful works of art, girl! :cheer:
hue_mee 12-21-2004, 06:34 AM From one Artist to another I say AMEN to that!" Or as the quote on here I used to have by Paul Cezzanne (?) "It is fine and yet so terrible to stand in front of an empty canvance" Meaning it is a wonderful thing to see a new upcoming creation yet wonder what is going to come out in canvas that is brewing in my little head of mine! Hee hee

Sandra You have a wonderful eye for creating Chico and Ed and it shows in the work you do. I enjoy them. but I agree with Sandra too.
Luckymama58 12-21-2004, 07:46 PM I haven't been around much lately myself, so I can understand things coming up and you being busy. But I have to vote for the calendar continuing if you have the time to put into this labor of love. After all, what wall paper would I put on my computer every month??? This is the BEST!!! (plus it irritates my family and I love doing this little dig.... I keep trying to tell them it is MY computer! LOL)
BTW I have saved all of your previous calendars, they are not only functional, but works of art, and I never throw away works of art, especially of such a Hunk of a subject! Woo hoo!
Prince 12-21-2004, 10:35 PM we can't have a new year without our Freddie calendar. Keep em coming Miss Dani. We all love them.
hue_mee 12-22-2004, 03:57 PM I always look forward to see what kind of creative visions Dani will come up with. The monthly calender only hightens the experience for me. So Miss Dani keep them coming! You are a wonderfully talented fan of Freddie's and I believe Freddie is so pleased with the way you tribute him!
I think everyone knows my answer as well.....KEEP EM COMING.
I have never made any wallpapers or calenders myself and have no clue how difficult or time consuming it is so I understand if you don't have time but i sincerely hope you will keep em coming
Merry Christmas!
Cheryl Harrell 12-24-2004, 03:33 PM Try it & I bet you could make some great wallpapers. You definately have the inspiration! :)
hue_mee 12-24-2004, 04:18 PM I agree Cheryl. That Joy would do a great joy making wallpapers with her inspiration. Dani has done an outstanding job this year with her tribute to Chico and the Man's 30th anniversary. I can't wait to see what she will come up next year!
