With his upcoming film Million Dollar Baby getting strong pre-release buzz, what other films have demonstrated Clint's exemplary directing skills. Personally, I think he was at his best with Unforigven and very good with last year's Mystic River.

I think "Mystic River" was his best film of his that I've seen so far. I thought the film was very well done. Not only were all the actors in the film really good with their acting, but the film also was able to keep a person in suspense until the ending. I also like the film "True Crime". I think that drama is his strong point when it comes to directing. Just my opinion. :)

It's one of my favourite westerns which stars two of my favourite actors, Gene Hackman and Clint Eastwood.

I picked Mystic River. But didn't he also direct the movie "The Beguiled?" I think that was a good one too.

I finally got around to seeing "Mystic River" last week on HBO, and it was a great film, but I think "Unforgiven" is his best work.

Clint Eastwood starred in The Beguiled, but didn't direct it, but did have his directorial debut the same year in Play Misty for Me which he also starred in. And if you want add to the confusion, also the same year, he starred in Dirty Harry which there's a scene at the bank, across the street posted on the cinema marquee is Play Misty for Me which has as I already mentioned Eastwood directing, but also starring and there's even Dirty Harry's director Don Siegel in a small role.

Play Misty For Me

I'm changing mine to Mystic River. Just watched it again recently and it is a great movie. One of his very best.

After seeing Million Dollar Baby, I think it closely rivals his directorial work in Unforgiven. Honestly, I'm not sure which one his is best.
