Does anyone know if they asked Lucille Ball to appear on an episode? The seemed to ask many other big stars like her, for instance, Bob Hope- the show had been airing for five years before Ball died and I know they liked her- she and Bea Arthur were still friendly- I just wonder if she was asked- I do know she went to a taping, perhaps, but that is it.

Too bad that never happened. That would've been very interesting to see.
