I'm probably the #1 fan of this show and was so excited to get my new DVD-5th season set of "Make Room For daddy:,but i discovered that they used the "edited or syndicated version" of ALL the episodes of this season!!!hey,i'm just so glad to have it as the show has NOT been on for a long time!I also think that the Goodlife TV Network does not CURRENTLY run it and am always keeping my eyes peeled for when someone shows it again!I also asked the distributor,Questar,Inc. if they will relases the LAST 2 years of the show that have NOT played EVER in any syndication package since leaving CBS in 1965!!!Questar has NO plans for ANY more Dvd's at this point!C'mon,people,let's get on their case!!!Thanks!Also, anyone out there interested in talking about this show can e-mail me at :histern@hotmail.com

....WERE "uncut", original episodes, you would have seen the original "DANNY THOMAS SHOW" opening title at the beginning. These episodes, even though they're from the first CBS season of 1957-'58, were given the "Make Room For Daddy" title when NBC first repeated them on their weekday lineup in the early '60s. The "Daddy" title had to be used for the repeats, to separate them from the first-run episodes CBS was showing on Monday nights at the time.
