At last... something to look at... Season 2 is now on Amazon. Unfortunately the cover art is exactly the same as Season 1 but with an orange background... how cheap and unoriginal. I hope it changes!

I know, I already preordered my season 2 dvd of Punky thru Amazon back on Dec 2nd along with the Full house season 1 dvd coming out the same day as punky! It does suck that cover art for the 2nd season of punky is the same pic but different color background, you'd think with a new season that has a new begining theme in the show with the kids a bit older, that the cover art would be different with a new pic. But oh well, the most important thing is the 2nd season is finally coming out soon so we can see that whole season again! I cant wait to get it! I hope they interviewd Punky, henry, and allen this time!

I actually e-mailed Shout Factory about the dvd cover and I got a reply saying they'd pass my comments onto the artwork department. They said the cover art hadn't been finalized yet and they had not gone to printing either. So fingers crossed hey!

On Season 2 bonus features, we'll only get an interview with Henry. Plus we'll get stickers (!) and of course the cartoon series.

I reckon they'll save the interviews with Soleil and Allen for later seasons, as they'd need more of a selling factor for the last 2 seasons. I can't wait to see what Allen looks like now... that kid was hilarious!

wow thats awesome that you emailed shout factory about the cover art and that they might reconsider doing a different pic for the cover! I hope they do too! Great work for emailing them about it, especially in time before they went to printing or finalizing the cover. Maybe they'll change it!

Thats cool that they will interview Henry on the 2nd season dvd! Too bad it wont have any of punky or allen yet tho. But yeah they probably will interview the 2 of them for the later seasons - making us wait and making sure eevryone buys the last 2. But yeah like we wouldnt anyway as everyone wants the full series lol! thats also really cool that we'll get some stickers with this season dvd as well as more cartoon episodes! Cant wait to see all of that!

I know, I also cant wait to see what Allen looks like now too! He was really funny on the show!

that was a great detailed review, thanks for sharing it. Season 2 is one of my FAVE seasons so I'm really excited and looking forward to the season 2 dvd release next week. Altho I preordered my copy in early Dec thru Amazon so I'm not sure when I'll get my copy tho, it might not get to me in the mail untill a couple weeks later than Feb 8th. ahhh I'm SOO anxious to get the dvd and start watching all my fave episodes again lol. I wish it would get here sooner cuz I cant wait to watch the whole season 2 right away lol.
