Ya know, at first, I thought the Old Navy Christmas commercials were just wonderful.

A bunch of clean cut young folk clad in Old Navy's finest winter apparel singing parodies of classic Christmas songs, what's not to love?

Now, fifteen or sixteen commercials later, I think the concept is starting to touch a nerve.
I feel sorry for the poor folks in the commercial who are just going about thier business, shopping or working in the kitchen, having to endure another singing assault by the old navy choir.

And don't get me started about the kid with the sign!

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

PS - If the blonde girl in the middle row on the left is reading this, you're the best one! Call me!

It's not bad. The best commercial this season has got to be the Staples one where the old lady takes a picture of the family with a stapler. :lol:

They're so funny, but I don't know, I laugh at little things. Their songs never rhyme and it's just funny listening to them.

The silly little ad campaign that refuses to end.

They are not annoying! They are gut wrenching. The worst one is when the innocent lady opens her closet to find them singing. But I have to admit, I got my sister a nice purse there for only 6 bucks.



But if you want to talk about things I run out of the room when they come up just mention the theme to Big Y.......

Clothes: Good
Commercials: Bad

I HATE OLD NAVY COMMERCIALS AND AM BOYCOTTING THEIR ****TY CLOTHES MERELY BECAUSE OF THEM.

The chick in the purple sweater that they sing to in that one commercial is hot...Therefor the commercial rules.

I like their clothes but I've always hated those commercials..... :lol:

i liked the ones where Morgan Faichild beats you senseless with her song.

They should really stop with the singing.

I must be getting sentimental in my old age, because I actually miss those annoying commercials.

Yeah, the girls are cute, but at the same time those commercials are just so irritating!

I think I liked the ones they used to have better; with that old lady(or man dressed in drag, I couldn't tell) with the big glasses and her stupid dog "Magic", remember those?!

I think those were the best. They had people like George and Louise Jefferson and Megan Mullaly as spokespeople.

I liked the old lady with the big glasses may she rest in peace :( and her dog magic was cute :)

Fran Drescher was great in the Old Navy Commericals

They are very annoying, but Asian chick is really cute.

I feel like punching the TV when I hear those stupid things.

I cannot figure out how on earth Old Navy survives in business and why they have tons of Christmas commercials every year because it seems that they want to be the number one clothing store chain in America and every November through December Old Navy's Christmas commercials get overplayed every year. I think Old Navy wants to be the new version of Mervyn's and is trying to copy the Target commercials and now you see Old Navy having tie-ins with popular movies such as Disney's Onward by making shirts and handbags and I just don't see how it helps Old Navy stay in business. Mom and I went into Old Navy once when my mall opened one and we thought Old Navy looked weird and the clothing looked like it came from the 70's but as for me I'd much rather go to Hot Topic to get my clothing than Old Navy. But as long as their commercials keep getting airplay Old Navy will be here to stay
