View Full Version : Woman attacks kid's bully James"Thunder"Early 12-15-2004, 10:55 PM http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/florida/news-article.aspx?storyid=29247 there's video of the attack Hollow 12-15-2004, 11:13 PM  i would so do that if my daughter was being constantly bullied. go fat lady. Belair 12-15-2004, 11:24 PM Yeah,i cant blame the woman! I remember when my little brother got beaten up at school, and i just wanted to kill the bully! Janice 12-15-2004, 11:27 PM I hate bullies with a passion. It's against the law in many states, and a lot of schools are adopting a zero tolerance policy. Bullying can result in expulsion. There's no need of it. Kids need to feel safe. Hollow 12-15-2004, 11:40 PM Originally posted by Janice I hate bullies with a passion. It's against the law in many states, and a lot of schools are adopting a zero tolerance policy. Bullying can result in expulsion. There's no need of it. Kids need to feel safe. which is exactly why i praise that lady. anyone who thinks people are whiny ******* for being hurt by bullying don't ****ing know what they're talking about and should just shut up until they've gone through it. i'm living proof that it's emotionally life-threatening. Kazza 12-15-2004, 11:41 PM As a mother myself, I wouldn't think about it twice:D Belair 12-15-2004, 11:44 PM I hate bullying too Janice.I dont know what right people who bully others think that they have to make someones life a living hell.I saw an episode of Dr Phil where a woman who had lost her son to suicide was talking about how her son was bullied daily, and it just made me realise how serious bullying is.When teacher say,"Kids will be kids" i have to strongly disagree.Bullying can really affect a person and can lead them to kill themselves, and that is so tragic. It needs to be taken seriously. Blair85 12-16-2004, 01:09 AM I don't blame her either. Kids can be so damn mean! Treat people like you'd want to be treated and that doesn't mean bullying somebody. Life is too short to be mean. crystals 12-16-2004, 01:26 AM I don't blame that woman for what she did. Kids can be cruel. Number one reason why I hated school. I'll never understand why people bully. There was a teacher at my elementary school who always said the "Kids will be kids" line. And, my school had the nerve to have a sign out in the parking lot of the school calling it a "Caring Community". There was an incident in middle school where this kid got called freak, and got dumped into a garbage can, had lies told about him, like people would say he did something when he didn't, horrible stuff. Nobody ever did anything about it. And, the teachers were so blind all the time, they'd punish him and not the bullies. :( Sara Micelli 12-16-2004, 01:34 AM Originally posted by webwarrior762004 You are proof of that, that is for sure. That was completely unnecessary. Sara Micelli 12-16-2004, 01:57 AM It doesn't help when people like you harass her about it. ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 12-16-2004, 02:06 AM Meangya sounds like my mother. About 16 years ago when my brother was in HS his friends got mad at him for no reason and were fighting or something I forget and she chased the kids in the school field in her van . Oh, and once when Warren was... 6/7ish he was playing at a park with his friends when these older kids were being bullies and shoved all the kids faces in snow and hurt them real bad so my mother went down there, grabbed the kids collar screamed "YOU LIKE PICKING IN YOUNGER KIDS?! WELL SO DO I!!!" and shoved the kids face in the snow. Ahaha. Nowadays though, you could never get away with that. Mr. Television 12-16-2004, 02:59 AM I can't stand bullys. snl75 12-16-2004, 03:19 AM i cant ether i was bullied in first grade and that was 26 years ago and i still remember it. *MIBabe03* 12-16-2004, 10:06 AM I saw that on the news. I hate bullies but the mom I think took it way too far. 80s_Fan 12-16-2004, 10:18 AM I don't agree with that woman beating up on the bully who was constantly harassing her daughter. It's one thing for her to try and stop the fight but she had no right doing what she did; she's just making matters worse. Bullies will always be a problem in this world unfortunately. It's up to the parents to talk to their kids when they are young but old enough to understand that they should never bully another kid. Not all kids are bullies; the ones that are usually are the ones who are not living in a happy home and have a lot of problems. So, it's up to their parents to sit them down and to talk with them. Penny Lane 12-16-2004, 10:42 AM Now who is the bully?:nonono: Hollow 12-16-2004, 02:03 PM  Hollow 12-16-2004, 03:13 PM Originally posted by webwarrior762004 You are proof of that, that is for sure. what's that supposed to mean? Seinatra 12-16-2004, 03:32 PM Well it seems we don't know whether the kid was a bully or not. It says that there were two girls against the 'bully' and that they were shouting racial names at each other. So it doesnt sound like her kid was completely innocent. Without some more information I think the mom should be charged with a crime. Superstar 12-16-2004, 05:03 PM I dont blame the lady! Without some more information I think the mom should be charged with a crime. i was thinking that too. only if it was serious bullying or beating would i run over there and kick the f-ck out of her. David 12-16-2004, 05:59 PM Wow, first coast news! That's my news station  But, very interesting video. bandito 12-16-2004, 06:45 PM Originally posted by Seinatra I think the mom should be charged with a crime. I agree. There are other ways of handling that situation. Hollow 12-16-2004, 06:55 PM Originally posted by bandito I agree. There are other ways of handling that situation. yeah, murder works too. JT 12-16-2004, 08:40 PM These kids bullied me in kindergarten. My mom went to one of the guys' house and ran over his bicycle. And people wonder why I'm so screwed up... Caffeine King 12-16-2004, 10:21 PM Her first sentence was attempted murder?! WTF!!! Now it's just simple battery... :o I agree that she [the mother] should've done something but maybe what she did was a bit too far... Though, we don't know how often her kid was bullied... Your mom rules. julian bozo 12-16-2004, 10:50 PM I got bits and pieces of the story but the mom should have handled it better. |
